Innergie 65U (3 Tip) supports a maximum output of 65 watts and it can charge with each dedicated brands. (Acer, Asus, Dell, HP, Lenovo)
Innergie 65U (3 Tip) is including 3 Tips to work with each dedicated brands (Acer, Asus, Dell, HP, Lenovo) but it can’t support USB-C Charging.
Yes, higher wattage supports lower wattage charging. For example, 65 watts charger charges 45 watts. However, it is not recommended to use a lower wattage charger for a higher wattage device. You might experice slow charging and overheating.
Due to different design logic of traditional and USB-C adapters, Innergie laptop adapters do not provide USB-C tip. The traditional adapter’s output power is fixed in 19.5V and USB-C adapters’ output power is auto-switch to 5V, 9V, 12V, 15V, or 20V upon laptop’s input request. If you would like to charge your USB-C laptop, please choose Innergie 65C Black or 65C White.
