No, Innergie laptop charger do not have batteries built in, and therefore cannot be used without being connected to a power source.
There are two ways to verify the voltage and wattage requirements for your laptop.
a) Check the label located at the bottom of your laptop. There should be a label or indication of the voltage and current required. Wattage requirements are computed by multiplying voltage by current.(For example: a laptop with the specs of 19V x 3.42A requires 65 watts of power).
b) Check the label located on the back of your original notebook adapter. There should be an indication of voltage and current required. Wattage requirements are computed by multiplying voltage by current.(For example: a laptop with the specs of 19V x 3.42A requires 65 watts of power).
Innergie Laptop charger provides 19-20 V working voltage. Your 12V laptop is not compatible with Innergie’ laptop charger. If your laptop is USB-C laptops (12V), you can choose Innergie’s USB-C (Type C) Laptop charger which can support 12V input.
