T28 supports a maximum output of 280 watts and it can charge most laptop brands, for instance, Asus, Acer, Lenovo, HP, Dell, MSI, and more. However, if none of the tips included in T28 fit your laptop, you can also apply for Free Tip Program for a free tip! View the Free Tip Program Policy here.

First, please confirm your laptop’s voltage and wattage requirement is within Innergie charger’s specification definition range. If you cannot find a compatible tip within the standard package, please apply at our Free Tip Program. You can get a free Tip during the warranty period of your Innergie tip charger. Yes, higher wattage supports lower wattage charging. For example, 280 watts charger charges 240 watts, 230 watts, 200 watts, 180 watts, 170 watts, 120 watts, 90 watts, 65 watts and 45 watts. However, it is not recommended to use a lower wattage charger for a higher wattage device. You might experice slow charging and overheating.

Due to different design logic of traditional and USB-C adapters, Innergie laptop adapters do not provide USB-C tip. The traditional adapter’s output power is fixed betweeb 19V – 20V and USB-C adapters’ output power is auto-switch to 5V, 9V, 12V, 15V, or 20V upon laptop’s input request. If you would like to charge your USB-C laptop, please choose Innergie C6 Lite (65C) or C10 Lite.
