Yes, higher wattage supports lower-wattage charging. For example, a 90-watt charger charges 65 watts and 45 watts. However, it is not recommended to use a lower-wattage charger for a higher-wattage device. You might experience slow charging and overheating.
Due to different design logic of traditional and USB-C adapters, Innergie laptop adapters do not provide USB-C tip. The traditional adapter’s output power is fixed betweeb 19V – 20V and USB-C adapters’ output power is auto-switch to 5V, 9V, 12V, 15V, or 20V upon laptop’s input request. If you would like to charge your USB-C laptop, please choose Innergie C6 Lite (65C) or C10 Lite.
